Sharon has given back to Women's Resources of Monroe County in several ways:
- Sharon was the president of the Board of Women's Resources for 6.5 years.
- Sharon was then the President Emeritus for 1 year.
- Sharon was the Gala Chair for 10 years raising over 1 million dollars for Women's Resources of Monroe County.
- Sharon founded Echo, a Gently Used Women's Clothing Store, where all proceeds benefit the Women's Resources of Monroe County Legal Fund.
